Meet the Founder:
Dr. Osie Gaines, III is a futurist who helps companies innovate and adopt new ways of working. His areas of focus include:
- Innovation and Design Thinking

- Teaching, Mentoring, and Coaching
Osie is an experienced team leader and consensus builder with nearly 20 years of success in business development, management consulting, program/project management, and training. He has a diverse background, including successful product launches with three technology start-ups in the US, UK, and Ireland. Osie served as a Senior Director for the Healthcare and Life Science practice at Slalom Consulting. He managed sales, consultant teams, client engagements, and technology partner relationships with Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Salesforce. Osie led Slalom’s 2020 global mentoring program to connect Black employees with mentors and professional development opportunities across the US, UK, and Canada.
Previously, Osie worked as a Senior Manager in Accenture’s Accelerated Life Sciences and Services practice where he helped global organizations plan and execute Digital Health initiatives. In fiscal year 2017, he served as the Innovation Lead for Accenture’s practice.
In 2021, Osie earned his Doctor of Business Administration degree (DBA) from the Robinson School of Business at Georgia State University. He actively explores solutions to business problems as a Research Associate at the Center for Engaged Business Research (CEBR). Osie holds a Master of Science degree in Information Systems (MSIS) from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from Michigan State University. Osie earned his Leading Innovation certification from the Stanford University Center for Professional Development. He has practiced as a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute since 2008.
Osie resides in Stone Mountain, GA with his wife Dr. Michelle Gaines. Michelle is a nanomaterial and block copolymer science researcher, Professor of Chemistry at Spelman College, and advocate for Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Osie and Michelle have two wonderful children, Penelope and Osie Lee. The family enjoys fun at the beach, hiking, camping, and gardening. Osie is a proud Scoutmaster (Boys Scouts of America, Troop 1833).
